Ion exchange filtrates by forcing positive and negative ions to interact with each other and exchange with the corresponding ions in the filter. This causes the minerals present in the water to be exchanged with the impurities. Water ionization is a popular choice among people who are conscious about their health and are not worried about having toxic metal or fluoride residues in their body.
